MOSCOW, Jan 29 (PRIME) -- The Kremlin does not have a position on the idea put forward by Digital Development Minister Maksut Shadayev to open online access to Russians’ data for all authorized officers involved in intelligence operations by 2024, the president’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Wednesday.
“There is no position, it’s a new initiative, and I can say nothing, but recommend going to the ministry for comment and explanation,” Peskov said.
Business daily Vedomosti said earlier that Shadayev had suggested opening online access to various types of data about citizens for law enforcement entities.
